The Fairfield Inn Montgomery East Chase is seeking friendly and professional Front Desk Agents to join our team!

Job Overview

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests and clients. Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greeting and Check-In: Welcome guests, assist with reservations, and provide information about services and amenities.
  2. Check-Out and Payment Processing: Manage check-outs, process payments, and handle billing inquiries.
  3. Communication: Answer calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  4. Reservation Management: Manage reservations, cancellations, and updates accurately.
  5. Guest Services: Address guest requests, resolve complaints, and provide local recommendations.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Handle mail, maintain logs, organize files, and keep the front desk area tidy.
  7. Security: Monitor access, issue visitor badges, and collaborate with security staff.
  8. Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions securely and reconcile at shift end.
  9. Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  10. Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management.
  11. Emergency Response: Follow protocols during emergencies and assist guests and staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong guest service skills, basic accounting knowledge, proficiency with computers and office equipment, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

This role involves extended standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Some work occurs indoors with equipment and machinery.
