Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Issue room keys and escort instructions to Guest Service Agents or directly to guests.
  2. Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
  3. Transmit and receive messages via all communication channels.
  4. Answer inquiries related to hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  5. Maintain records of room availability and rates.
  6. Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
  7. Make, confirm, and cancel reservations through all communication channels.
  8. Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to guest bills if the interface is inoperable.
  9. Make reservations for transportation or entertainment for guests.
  10. Proficient in using various office software.
  11. Possess full working knowledge and expertise of each shift, including night audits.
  12. Communicate effectively in English with guests, associates, and vendors.
  13. Accurately report information and assist with office tasks as needed.
  14. Follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures meticulously.
  15. Attend required meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to push, bend, stoop, reach upward, and demonstrate manual dexterity.
