Hotel Paseo, Autograph Collection, a Marcus Hotels & Resorts property in Palm Desert, seeks a Front Desk Agent to deliver a five-star welcome and departure experience for guests, ensuring an exceptional stay in a boutique luxury setting with desert views, pool, spa, and on-site dining options.

You will check guests in and out, handle requests, communicate with multiple departments, maintain cash handling accuracy, and uphold confidentiality and service excellence throughout every shift.

Formación

• Hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the front office for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
• Check guests in and out of rooms.
• Input and retrieve information from computer systems to communicate guest requests; select rooms based on guests' needs.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank.
• Communicate guest information to designated departments (special requests, amenity delivery).
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
• Generate, print and distribute daily and weekly reports.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, hours, room types, rates, packages and promotions.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent who will provide a five-star welcome and departure experience to our guests and ensure they have an exceptional stay. Part of the Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts portfolio, HOTEL PASEO offers guests a distinctive desert retreat featuring 150 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, many showcasing breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains and palm-lined landscape. Guests can unwind by our resort-style pool and on-site spa, explore the area on complimentary bicycles, and enjoy inspired dining at Larkspur Grill, Lemon Drop Pool Bar or Café Paseo. Located along world-renowned El Paseo, our boutique hotel places guests’ steps from premier shopping, art galleries, acclaimed restaurants, and vibrant nightlife while serving as the perfect gateway to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.

What will you be doing?

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
• Check guests in and out of rooms.
• Input and retrieve information routinely from computer systems to communicate guest requests. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guests' needs.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank.
• Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery).
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
• Generate, print and distribute daily and weekly reports.
• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and locations, room rates, special packages and promotions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• Previous hotel front desk experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the front office for extended periods.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
• Capability to accurately input and manage information using a computer system.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Visual and auditory awareness to detect emergencies.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
