Who this job will appeal to

A team player with a great smile who absolutely LOVES people! Looking for someone who can work weekends and be available for AM and/or PM shifts.

What you will be doing
  1. You will help create an excellent and memorable stay for our guests by welcoming and serving each guest with exceptional service, either in person or by phone, and ensuring that guests are checked in and out in a friendly and timely manner.
  2. At Your Agents in the Communication Center, you will be the heartbeat of the hotel, responsible for processing incoming and outgoing communications courteously while maintaining a positive and professional image. You will also receive all guest requests and enter them into our Guest Request Database.
  3. Answer and process all incoming and outgoing guest and in-house calls.
  4. Check bulletin boards and logbooks for all pertinent information.
  5. Forward messages and faxes as needed to guests and various departments.
  6. Handle radio communications between security, engineering, and MOD in emergency and non-emergency situations.
  7. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, including basic conversational skills.
  8. Able to stand for long periods.
  9. Possess excellent people skills.
  10. Meet grooming standards.
  11. Meet or exceed customer expectations.
  12. Have computer experience.
  13. Enter requests into the database and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  14. Be comfortable working on-site.
Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays may be necessary. The role involves regular interaction with guests, using hands and fingers to handle objects, and standing for extended periods. Occasionally, lifting up to 10 pounds and walking or sitting may be required.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three months of related experience or training preferred.
