Qualifications

  • 1 year of customer service experience required, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Comfortable using MS Suite and hotel PMS systems.

Job description

The DoubleTree by Hilton- Nashville Downtown is located in downtown Nashville, a five-minute walk from the row of honky-tonks and bars on Broadway. Famous attractions like Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum are within half a mile of our hotel. We feature live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at our Fourth and U restaurant and bar.

343 Rooms, Full-Service Starbucks, 15,000 sq. ft. event space.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Deliver unparalleled service, courtesy, and care to our guests
  2. Respond promptly and effectively to guest questions and requests
  3. Streamline the check-in and check-out process for guests
  4. Answer incoming phone calls with promptness and professionalism
  5. Excel at multitasking in a dynamic environment
  6. Resolve guest concerns with attentive service recovery
Physical Demands:
  1. Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs
  2. Primarily standing for majority of shift
Qualifications:
Education:
  1. High school diploma or its equivalent
Experience:
  1. One year of Front Desk experience in hotels preferred
  2. One year of experience working in customer service or a guest-facing role required
  3. Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
  4. Previous experience with hotel PMS systems (OnQ) a plus.
