A leading hotel is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests. The role involves managing check-ins, providing information about amenities, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls • Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions. • Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings. • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately Qualifications: • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Compensation: $16 - $18
