We are seeking a Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team. We provide:

Note: Marriott hotel experience is preferred. Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, complete registration, and assist with check-in procedures, including inputting and retrieving information, confirming details, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, and providing relevant information and assistance.
  • Assist guests during check-out, ensuring accurate billing, processing payments, and handling currency exchange and gift certificates.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and answer guest inquiries.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services to maximize occupancy.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage messages and communication with guests effectively.

Qualifications include excellent communication skills in English, a professional appearance, teamwork, mathematical proficiency, patience, tact, diplomacy, physical ability to stand and move throughout the front office, and proficiency with computer systems. Ability to recognize emergency signs and establish effective working relationships is essential.
