Job Description

The Front Office Agent is responsible for maintaining and promoting hospitality by welcoming and checking in guests in a courteous and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support the Crowne Plaza hallmark and service standards.
  • Responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Responsible for making reservations and cancellations.
  • Execute strong customer service abilities and handle customer concerns appropriately.
  • Process and file paperwork accurately.
  • Responsible for answering elevator alarms.
  • Balance credit cards, room revenue, and occupancies.
  • Prepare reports for departmental heads.
  • Perform computer backup.
  • Provide hotel directions to guests.
  • Work knowledge of safety box and check cashing procedures.
  • Able to perform all duties of PBX.
  • Stay up to date on room rates, packages, discounts, and how to handle each.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as laptops, calculators, photocopiers, and scanners. The employee must talk and hear regularly, operate office equipment, and may need to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close vision and focus adjustment.
