Handles guest reservations and coordinates with the reservation center.
Registers guests promptly and courteously, using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates; prepares for group check-ins, check-outs, and VIP arrivals. Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
Handles confidential guest records with integrity.
Answers and routes calls appropriately; takes accurate guest messages.
Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
Offers and manages wake-up call requests properly.
Records guest information in the pass-on log.
Replenishes continental breakfast and maintains cleanliness of the area.
Ensures the lobby and common areas are clean.
Performs laundry duties as directed.
Checks guests in and out, processes payments according to policies.
Answers phones promptly and courteously.
Promotes hotel services, facilities, and local events; stays informed about hotel and area happenings.
Answers guest questions and refers to local attractions and transportation options.
Uses creative reasoning to address guest objections and ensure satisfaction.
Resolves minor complaints; reports major issues to supervisors.
Responds quickly to guest requests and follows up to ensure satisfaction.
Completes daily paperwork, manages departmental cash and guest accounts, and balances cash at shifts' start and end.
Uses communication equipment effectively.
Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to company policies.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
