MarinHealth Medical Network seeks a Medical Assistant - Front/Back Swing to support patient care under Clinical Lead and Practice Leader. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, measuring visit reasons, and assisting with procedures.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certification (NHA/AMCA), BLS, and at least one year of clinical experience. Proficiency with Allscripts EMR preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA and AMCA.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Experience: At least one year of related medical assisting experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, note reason for visit and symptoms.
• Provide injections and immunizations as ordered.
• Assist providers during procedures.
• Document in the EMR with accuracy (meaningful Use data, Pay for Performance, ACO data).
• Triage urgent medical needs and communicate with patients.
