Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises is seeking talented cooks to join our back-of-house team in Miami. The role focuses on preparing dishes from our scratch recipes, maintaining high sanitation standards, and presenting meals with consistent plate artistry.

You will rotate through prep work, station setup, and kitchen cleaning while supporting team members. Shift flexibility includes nights, weekends, and holidays; a food-safety certification is required.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand/walk for the full shift.
• Ability to read recipes and food labels.
• Ability to read POS ticket orders.
• Good English reading/writing skills.
• Must pass food safety certification per Florida statutes.
• Safe operation of kitchen equipment (grill, stove, slicer).
• Lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift; 5 lb items for long periods.
• Maintain high safety, sanitation and teamwork standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items per recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures product rotation and stocks to par levels.
• Stocks prep work and sets up stations as needed.
• Transports items and assists with deliveries to/from kitchen.
• Cleans and maintains the kitchen area during shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
