Cogir Senior Living is seeking a skilled Cook to join our community restaurant in Mooresville, NC. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and guests, working with the culinary director to create diverse options and a quarterly seasonal menu.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of full-service kitchen experience, can read recipes, handle knife work, and adapt meals for dietary needs of seniors. Food handler card and sanitation knowledge required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in full-service kitchen, cooking from scratch.
• Able to read and follow recipes; knowledge of dietary needs for seniors.
• Food Handler Card and kitchen sanitation understanding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following established menus, recipes, dietary, and sanitary guidelines.
• Maintain clean, sanitized stations.
• Assist dining services for timely meal service.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Support kitchen operations as needed.
