Cogir Senior Living in Hickory, NC is seeking a compassionate Cook for our community restaurant. You will prepare fresh meals from scratch, follow menus and dietary guidelines, and work closely with the culinary director to deliver nutritious options daily.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of kitchen experience, is familiar with safety codes, can handle large-batch cooking, and can adapt to weekends/holidays. We offer growth, competitive wages, and benefits.

Formación

• 1+ year of experience in full-service kitchen environments and ability to cook from scratch.
• Ability to read and execute recipes and follow dietary guidelines for seniors.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, sanitation, and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals following established menus, recipes, dietary and sanitary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas in a timely fashion.
• Keep stations clean and sanitized and restock as needed.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely meal service.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and participate in training.
• Handle and store cleaning supplies safely and assist in all kitchen operations.
