Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Frisco, TX office is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join our Power Delivery team. This is not a remote position and you will design and analyze complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, and utility-scale substation projects.

You will develop design documents and reports, perform electrical calculations and one-line diagrams, mentor junior staff, and assist in expanding our Power Delivery practice nationwide through proposals and client

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

Design and analysis of complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, and utility-scale substation projects.
Development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams.
Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams across Kimley-Horn offices.
Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals to grow the Power Delivery practice.
Assist in mentoring, training, and growing a team in the Power Delivery practice.
Develop reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses.
