Kimley-Horn's Frisco, TX office is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join our Power Delivery team. This is not a remote position and you will design and analyze complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, and utility-scale substation projects.

You will develop design documents and reports, perform electrical calculations and one-line diagrams, mentor junior staff, and assist in expanding our Power Delivery practice nationwide through proposals and client

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree by Summer 2027.

Responsabilités

• Development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams.
• Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams across Kimley-Horn offices.
• Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals to grow the Power Delivery practice.
• Assist in mentoring, training, and growing a team in the Power Delivery practice.
• Develop reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses.

Formation

ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or EI or within 18 months

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering graduates to join our Frisco, Texas (TX) office's Power Delivery team! This is not a remote position.

• Responsible for the development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams.

• Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices.

• Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the local market and across the country.

• Assist in mentoring, training, and growing a team to expand our Power Delivery practice.

• Responsible for the development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses.

Qualifications

• An ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.

• Engineer-In-Training (EIT), Engineer Intern (EI), or the ability to obtain within 18 months.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
