Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join our Phoenix North, AZ office. This is not a remote position, and you will contribute to design and analysis of electrical systems for renewable generation and substation projects.

You'll work with multi-disciplinary teams, develop design documents and reports, and pursue professional licensure goals through EIT/EI pathways while growing with Kimley-Horn's Power Delivery practice.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree required by Summer 2027.
• EIT/EI eligibility or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, and utility-scale projects.
• Development of design documents and reports: electrical layouts, schematics, one-line diagrams, and calculations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across Kimley-Horn offices.

Education

ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) eligibility
