Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works in Denver is hiring friendly, outgoing associates to deliver fast, friendly service in a busy kitchen and dining area. Earn between $19.30 and $19.80 per hour plus digital tips in a welcoming, team-focused environment.

As a Potbelly Associate you will take orders, prepare sandwiches and assist customers, maintain cleanliness, and support a positive dining experience. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• You are at least 16 years of age.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset for fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front).
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream).
• If 18 or older, use of the automatic slicer to prep food items.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Operate cash register; handle, balance and follow cash procedures.
• Effectively handle customer complaints/issues.
• Takes delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned
