Qualifications

• Previous experience using a cash register or POS system is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn store systems and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to transaction accuracy.
• Stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities during busy periods.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move moderately weighted merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide attentive, friendly, and professional service.
• Process cash, credit card, gift card, and other transactions accurately.
• Assist with opening, closing, and daily register-balancing procedures.
• Answer customer questions and help resolve issues professionally.
• Promote store sales and campaigns, and guide customers to merchandise.
• Learn product locations and direct customers to items in the store.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and surrounding spaces.
• Support pricing donations and merchandise organization as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support in other store areas when required.
