Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Jackson, WY is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support the Produce team and help maintain displays, stock shelves, and assist customers. You will work to ensure quality, freshness, and adherence to WFM standards while learning about organic and conventional produce.

As a member of the Produce team, you will perform opening, mid, and closing duties, handle stock movements, and contribute to a positive store image through courteous service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by stocking, front-facing, and rotating products.
• Assists Team Leader with organizing seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and Weights and Measures procedures.
• Maintains clean, safe working/shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.
