Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support the Produce team in receiving, stocking, and merchandising. You will help maintain attractive displays, assist with inventory, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members while upholding health and safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to learn about organic and conventional produce, with flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
