Job summary

Whole Foods Market Asheville is seeking an entry-level Produce Team Member to support receiving, stocking, and merchandising in accordance with WFM standards.

You will provide courteous customer service, maintain clean displays, and help with seasonal items while following health and safety regulations. Flexible schedule, opportunity for growth, and Whole Benefits are offered. No prior retail experience required, and you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Assists with organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Completes worksheets for spoilage, temperature, and sweep as required.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising of products.
• Follows health and safety and sanitation procedures.
