Job summary

Pero Family Farms is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our operations team as Packers, Stackers, and Dumpers in Benton Harbor, MI. This onsite, non-exempt role focuses on careful handling, accurate packing, safe stacking, and efficient movement through production with shift flexibility.

Preferred candidates have basic produce handling or warehouse exposure and can work in varying temperatures. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must have basic communication in English (written and spoken).
• Prior experience in produce handling or warehouse is preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Pack fresh produce into boxes or crates following company standards and labeling requirements.
• Stack packed cartons or crates onto pallets and secure for transport.
• Dump raw produce onto conveyors or processing lines and monitor flow while removing defects.
