Title: Production Line Worker

Reports to: Line Lead

Location: Benton Harbor, MI

Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Non-Exempt

Job Summary

A Produce (Fresh Cut Vegetables) Production Line Worker operates machinery and performs manual tasks involved in processing and packaging fresh vegetables. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to food safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operate machinery such as cutters, slicers, peelers, and packaging machines to process vegetables according to specifications.
2. Perform manual tasks including washing, trimming, and inspecting vegetables for quality.
3. Package processed vegetables into containers, ensuring accurate labeling and weight.
4. Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
5. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following food safety regulations.
6. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
