Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Seattle is seeking a Team Member to perform preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking duties while upholding the store's standards and customer service.

You will help customers, maintain product quality, keep areas clean, and support on-floor operations including opening, mid, and closing duties. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Maintains clean and organized walk-ins and freezers.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and models suggestive selling techniques.
