Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking Team Members to support Prepared Foods through preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. You will engage with customers and Team Members, promote store programs, and uphold health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cutting and serving a variety of foods, sampling products, rotating stock, and assisting with inventory and displays. Flexible scheduling, ongoing training, and a strong team ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Strong attention to detail in displays, pricing and stocking.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors and teammates.
• Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding and adherence to health, sanitation and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen and walk-in prep.
• Rotates stock and checks dates for freshness.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and maintains a clean, sanitary environment.
