Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Team Member for in-store duties across Prepared Foods, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork to promote WFM programs and health regulations.

Responsibilities include production support, accurate labeling, waste documentation, and educating customers on product differences, while maintaining clean walk-ins and freezers. Shift suitability and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or prepared foods is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain labeling, dating, and rotation.
• Understanding of waste management and its impact on department profits.
• Proven ability to communicate product differences to customers.
• Adherence to health and safety requirements and WFM standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production for all Prepared Foods venues.
• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dates, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensures product meets WFM guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Documents waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Helps customers understand the difference between WFM products and products at conventional stores.
• Ensures that walk-ins and freezers are kept clean and well-organized.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
