Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in California is seeking a Team Member to support Prepared Foods through preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking.

You will engage customers, maintain store standards, and collaborate with the team to deliver friendly, efficient service. Responsibilities include cutting and serving hot and cold foods, sampling products, ensuring freshness, rotating stock, and assisting with inventory.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza.
• Samples products to customers and assists with merchandising.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods and rotates stock to ensure freshness.
• Checks in-stock dates, maintains cleanliness, and follows health and safety rules.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Assists with opening, mid, and closing duties and supports team on the floor.
