Job summary

New Morning Market is seeking a friendly counter attendant to provide guests with efficient service, maintain attractive grab-and-go displays, and ensure proper storage and temperatures. You will engage customers, answer questions, and assist with product selection while upholding high sanitation standards.

Weekend/evening availability is required. Prior experience in natural/organic foods or grocery retail is preferred, and you will be part of a team dedicated to fresh, quality offerings.

Responsibilities

• Following established procedures, stock and display foods attractively.
• Rotate items by date and remove out-of-date products.
• Maintain sanitary, orderly counter and storage areas meeting Health Department standards.
• Adhere to safe food handling at counter, walk-in and waste areas.
• Monitor and record product temperatures to ensure safety guidelines.
