New Morning Market is seeking a food service counter attendant to deliver efficient, friendly service and maintain attractively merchandised grab-and-go displays. You will help guests with questions and selections, while ensuring proper temperatures and health standards.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, prompt service, and maintaining clean, sanitary areas. Weekend/evening availability is required and prior experience in natural/organic foods or grocery retail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills; focused customer service orientation.

• Assisting customers with questions and product selection by suggestive selling.

Responsibilities

• Stock and display foods continuously in an attractive manner.
• Rotate items by date and remove out-of-date products from the case.
• Maintain sanitary, orderly counter and storage areas per Health Department standards.
• Follow safe food handling procedures at counter, walk-in and waste areas.
• Monitor and record case and product temperatures to ensure safe storage.
