Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a friendly Food Service Associate/ Deli Clerk to manage the store's deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, guest service and accurate pricing. You will learn to operate the register, handle cash, prepare, wrap and stock deli items, and maintain clean work areas while delivering friendly customer care in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, weekend availability, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• 2 years foodservice or retail management experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, register forms, and posted company policies.
• Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• The preparation and cooking of deli and food service items, including salads, sandwiches, hot and cold beverages.
• Take guest orders, ensure orders are completed on time and to guest's satisfaction.
• Other duties assigned by Store Manager.
