Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, appearance, and guest service. The role involves cash handling, operating registers, scales, scanners, and terminals, and preparing deli items to quality and safety standards.

Must be at least 16, with 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience; Serv-SAFE preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• 2 years foodservice or retail management experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Walk-in coolers and freezers work environment.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Learn to use UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys/codes.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Prepare and cook deli items including fried foods, salads, sandwiches, rollers, beverages and prepared meals.
• Display products following guidelines.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion and satisfaction.
• Other duties assigned by Store Manager.
