Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to prepare and present fresh deli products, assist customers, and maintain a clean, safe deli area. You will handle special orders and party trays while operating deli equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable and friendly demeanor.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented while keeping the deli area clean.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales and other deli equipment per company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary deli area and equipment; clean shelves, floors and surfaces.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature and quality.
