You will operate slicers and other deli equipment, maintain cleanliness, rotate stock, and help with special orders and party trays, working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with HS diploma or equivalent and grocery/food experience or equivalent.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. up to 20 ft without help.
• Stand up to 4 hours per shift (8 hours total).
• Operate deli equipment and maintain equipment safety.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights & Measures; Food Handlers permit.
• Work in cooler and freezer environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented neatly and sanitary.
• Fill, rotate, and merchandise products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales, and other deli equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; clean spills and debris.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy and quality.
