Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced kitchen environment. You will help customers select healthy options, prepare fresh meals, and ensure deli items are properly prepared and displayed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Have and show an outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction within a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for distances up to 20 feet without assistance for up to 4 hours.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices and prepare fresh meals.
• Provide high-level customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of the deli area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment.
