Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to help customers choose healthy options and prepare fresh meals. You will manage deli displays, prep special orders, and operate slicers and ovens while keeping the area clean and safe.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication, with shifts that may include nights and weekends in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Have an outgoing, friendly behavior with customers.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh, easy meals.
• Ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, displayed, and kept clean.
• Fill, rotate, and merchandise products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; follow safety rules.
• Receive and log products for shipment, temperature, and quality.
