Job Title: Grocery Clerk I

Reports To: Center Store Department Manager

As a Grocery Clerk, your role involves stocking to make grocery shopping easy and enjoyable for guests. You'll keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized—helping guests find what they need quickly. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere. Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service, greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, in-date, rotated properly, and well-stocked.
  • Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products, suggest alternatives, and provide product suggestions.
  • Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
  • Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
  • Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns professionally.
  • Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are stocked by designated times.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
  • Helpful attitude and commitment to guest service.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety policies, including proper lifting and equipment use.
  • Ability to operate equipment (training provided).
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical requirements include standing for long periods, working in coolers, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and performing repetitive tasks. Accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

This part-time role may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
