Job summary

Social Factor is seeking a Language Community Moderator to join on a project-based, temporary/part-time basis. The role focuses on moderating communities in English and French for top brands, with flexible schedules and occasional 24/7 shifts. You should be a native French speaker with deep cultural knowledge and excellent written and verbal skills.

Experience in social media moderation is required; live stream moderation is a plus. This US/UK-based opportunity offers remote work.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of French language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with Windows 10 and macOS 12. Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
• AI tools may be used for practice interviews, but use of AI during live interviews is prohibited
