Job summary

R+L Global Logistics in Hebron Estates, KY is seeking a Domestic Logistics Specialist - Track & Trace to manage outbound calls, emails, monitor shipment status, and resolve customer issues. You will enter data, monitor carrier compliance, maintain customer accounts, and track loads from origin to delivery.

The role requires multitasking, strong communication, and ability to work with internal teams and carriers, with after-hours coverage and occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in track and trace, dispatching, carrier management, or logistics operations preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and video conferencing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive tracking, document preparation, and load status verification.
• Make outbound calls to carriers to confirm shipment status and timelines.
• Provide ETA updates and escalate service failures to Operations and Sales.
• Ensure carrier compliance with tracking tools and platforms.
• Communicate shipment progress to clients, carriers, and peers.
• Gather PODs, BOLs, invoices, and real-time updates to close loads.
• Track freight movements from origin to delivery and resolve challenges.
• Provide after-hours coverage for Capacity Procurement during absences.
