Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years freight brokerage, logistics sales, transportation sales, or 3PL business development experience.
• Proven success prospecting and developing new business.
• Experience selling truckload and/or LTL transportation solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in Lenexa, Kansas office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound sales activity.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Schedule and conduct customer meetings.
• Identify customer transportation challenges and provide tailored logistics solutions.
• Manage your sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
• Represent Sims Global Solutions throughout the Kansas City business community.
