Job summary

HDR is seeking a Freight Rail Business Class Lead / Freight Rail Construction Services Lead in Vienna, VA, to guide major railroad projects from concept through construction. You will manage a large staff across offices, coordinate project staffing, and implement QA/QC to meet schedule and budget targets.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 10+ years in the industry, and experience growing freight rail programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
• Staff development and mentoring experience.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Project management of railroad projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate staffing and workload to deliver quality on schedule.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with clients.
• Grow HDR's Freight Rail Public Projects and Construction Management services.
• Track major railroad construction and pursue opportunities.
