Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• At least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Comply with federal, state, and other railroad safety regulations
• Communicate with team members using signals or radio to coordinate movement
• Operate track switches to determine train routes and support operations
• Read and understand rule books and related materials
• Inspect train and equipment for safety compliance
• Perform duties as assigned
