Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize delinquent accounts needing attention.
• Understand client invoicing requirements including EDI 204, 214 and 210.
• Develop reports and use them to manage the reconciliation process.
• Check invoice status on customer portals and communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Correct invoicing issues with attention to detail and root-cause analysis.
• Upload documents through the carrier resolution process of the customer portal.
• Document the collections system with customer notes and actions.
• Set and adhere to follow-up dates to ensure timely payment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to research and resolve customer disputes.
• Defend charges when disputes are not valid.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Evaluate creditworthiness by reviewing payment trends and references.
