The TJX Companies, Inc. in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Manager of Freight Payment to lead the Freight Payment team, partner with Logistics and Accounting on accruals and payments, and provide leadership and reporting for budgeting and forecasting.

The role focuses on process improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and staff development, with opportunities to influence financial planning and analytics in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of audit, payables, transportation/logistics, or equivalent experience at a manager level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and plan ahead.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day Freight Payment activities.
• Partner with Logistics Finance and Accounting on accruals and payments.
• Prepare and present research, reporting, and results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation carriers.
• Coach staff and manage performance, supporting growth.
• Support special projects and system upgrades as needed.
