Job summary

CarMax Logistics seeks a Manager, Logistics Freight Payment to lead financial operations for a nationwide network, overseeing about $200M+ in transport spend and revenue reconciliation. You will ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency while managing vendor relationships and a high-performing team.

You’ll partner with Accounting and Sourcing to improve accruals, develop KPI reporting, and drive process improvements that reduce risk and support operations at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of business experience with a focus on financial operations.
• 1+ year of project management experience and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and results focus with track record of process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee freight payment and reconciliation processes across logistics operations.
• Support toll and fuel programs, driving efficiency and cost control.
• Manage third-party freight payment vendor relationships and projects.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Strategic Sourcing to maintain accrual accuracy.
• Develop reporting tools to monitor KPI and drive improvements.
• Lead payment process optimizations and reduce manual handling.
• Coach team members and ensure accountability and growth.
