Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company in Four Oaks, NC seeks a transportation compliance and freight pay analyst to support audit, payment, and rate management across North America. You will help manage third-party providers, ensure timely invoicing, and drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining strong controls and performance metrics.

The role collaborates with operations, carriers, and analytics teams to optimize processes and deliver sustainable transportation savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. BS in Supply Chain, Business Management, or similar preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field preferred, with exposure to Transportation, Freight Payment, Analytics, Business Systems, Financial Analysis, or Customer Support.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, establish targets and objectives, and deliver on time with defined KPIs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems such as SAP, JDE, BI, TMS, and related data sources for metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee third-party freight audit and payment providers for NA transportation invoices.
• Ensure timely audit, approval, payment, and reconciliation of transportation invoices across the NA network.
• Monitor audit and payment operations for compliance with controls, terms, and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, carriers, and providers to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
• Monitor carrier invoice aging and open invoices to ensure timely payment and working capital management.
• Support carrier rate management ensuring rates, terms, and rules are maintained across systems.
• Develop and report KPIs to measure freight audit and payment performance and drive improvements.
• Use freight data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive standardization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and cost performance.
• Serve as point of contact for transportation providers to resolve issues.
