XPO, Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize freight activities on a day-to-day basis. You will oversee operations teams, plan workloads, and ensure safety and compliance while driving efficiency in a dynamic environment.

The role requires knowledge of LTL, regulatory rules and the ability to manage shifts across days, evenings, nights and weekends. A strong leadership mindset and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain or similar environment.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, hazmat regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department needs.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across operations and address workplace questions.
• Ensure production goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce company, FMCSR, OSHA, CCMTA, NSC and DOT policies and laws.
