XPO Logistics, Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead all aspects of freight operations onsite.

You will develop procedures to meet evolving department demands and supervise hourly staff while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations. The role requires 2+ years in related environments and knowledge of LTL regulations, with a preference for supervisory experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse, distribution, or transportation environments.
• Knowledge of LTL, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules.
• Willingness to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement standard work procedures to meet department needs.
• Evaluate, manage and assign workloads and supervise hourly staff.
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll and admin tasks.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce FMCSR, OSHA, CCMTA, NSC and DOT policies.
• Improve load average and model compliance through action plans.
• Participate in safety and engagement committees and train staff on safety.
