Job summary

Uber Freight in Exton, PA is seeking a Logistics Specialist III to execute daily freight operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently and on time. You will manage shipments, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with carriers, shipping sites, and internal teams using a Transportation Management System (TMS) and email platforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks across systems (email, TMS, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Internal candidates must satisfy internal mobility criteria to be considered for transfer.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of shipments within a TMS.
• Ensure loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays, errors, or carrier challenges.
• Communicate updates with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams.
• Handle high volumes of emails and system updates, prioritizing urgent requests.
• Troubleshoot shipment issues across TL, LTL, rail, bulk, and specialized freight.
• Support process improvements by identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
• Maintain accurate shipment data, rates, and operational records.
• Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies.
