Innovative Environments (IE) in Houston, TX, seeks a dependable Freight/Logistics Coordinator to manage domestic freight and occasional international shipments. You will coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers, and ensure materials arrive on time while supporting project teams.

The role requires forklift certification, strong organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with occasional weekends; company offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating freight, warehouse logistics, or shipping.
• Forklift certification with hands-on forklift experience required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and schedule domestic freight, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Manage limited international shipments with required customs documentation.
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, verifying secure loads and correct paperwork.
• Track shipments in real time, resolving delays or damages quickly.
• Load and unload deliveries and supplies from trucks.
• Manage small parcel shipping and receiving, and maintain accountability for deliveries.
• Build relationships with carriers, negotiate freight rates, and approve invoices.
• Collaborate with project managers, installers, and service technicians for smooth operations.
