Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• One plus year of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to learn and operate multiple computer systems across platforms.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and Penske associates.
• Ability to use critical thinking to analyze information and solve problems within SOP.

Responsibilities

• Load-building - add shipments to a load, rate, secure carrier coverage and appointment setting; monitor MCP emails.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
• Call center and shared email box responsibilities.
• Provide visibility by tracking shipments and conducting load exception investigations.
• Recover customer loads and complete daily logs and trackers.
• Provide instructions for other shifts via phone and email.
• Other projects as assigned by supervisor.
